I was reading about this great professor yesterday, you must have sat under his teaching before. I didn’t know who he was until a few years ago when I was enrolled unexpectedly into his prestigious Life Business School. The fee varies, depending on what you are doing and what you intend to do. My own tuition fee was a quarter of a million pounds.
It takes humility to stay registered in this school and allow Professor Adversity to teach you, but you will graduate as a well equipped, better candidate for your preferred future.
One of the core modules you will cover as explained by Emmet Fox is: “Difficulties come to you at the right time to help you grow and move forward by overcoming them.” He explained further: “The only real tragedy comes when we suffer without learning the lesson.”
Now I can tell you how not to do business! That was my degree major.
Why Attend the College?
Many of us go to College or University to learn how to be successful in life. I wish I could say the same directly about Professor Adversity’s Life Business School. In this school, you are trained to handle, deal with and face failure, not success.
Professor Adversity, in his argument, believes failure is far more important than success. We face more failures, setbacks and challenges than successes in our lifetime, so why not learn how to benefit from them?
I found it hard to comprehend just like you are finding it hard to accept now but after a few real life experiences (not theory) I can boldly say, sadly, he is right. Proper training to handle failure positions you for success. Besides, most of us learn best from trying and failing. That’s the way we have been learning from childhood. You try, fall and try to walk again. You touch the hot candle and you don’t touch it again.
